Descripción de Producto

Solar Thermal Reflect Coating Water Based Aerogel High Temperature Heat Resistant Paint
Product Description

Product Name:Flame RetardantGelcoat HS - LFI7035S

1. Brief Introduction:HS-LFI7035S Gelcoat is a premium intumescent flame retardant gel coat. The base resin is Isophthalic-adipic acid unsaturated polyester resin, and it isengineered for the spray process and comes pre-promoted. This gel coat is ideal for the surface of FRP products needing robust flame retardant
protection.It is widely used inrail transit systems, wind turbine nacelle covers, ship accessories, and other fields requiring stringent flame retardant properties.
2. Features: · Exceptional construction performance;
· Superior flame retardant capabilities (high oxygen index, low smoke density);
· Complies with fire protection standards UIC564-2 Class B
· Excellent water and weather resistance.
3. Gelcoat Properties:

Gel time test: Curing agent M-50 (AKZO) 2%.
4. Application Notes: 1). Gently mix the gelcoat in the bucket before use to avoid excessive shear rates and air entrapment
during mixing.
2). The optimal application temperature should be between 18-25°C with humidity less than 80%. Ensure the mold is
polished and clean before applying the gelcoat.
3). Prepare the mold so that the surface is dry, clean, and free from oil.
4). Fully wax the mold surface (do not use silicone-containing release wax). Allow moisture from water-soluble release wax to evaporate before applying the gelcoat.

5). Use MEKP as the curing agent for the gelcoat (dosage generally 1-3%).
6). The total thickness of the gelcoat film should be between 600 and 1000μm. Each spray layer should not exceed 0.2mm. Wait 2-3 minutes after solvent volatilization before applying another layer to the required thickness.

7). Check the gelcoat cure degree before starting the lamination layers. Press your finger on the gelcoat film for 30 seconds. If no gelcoat residue remains on your finger but the film remains sticky, you can proceed with the lamination layers.
5. Operation Procedure:

Note: Use a paint spray can with an air source pressure maintained at 20psi. Ensure the air flow is not less than 0.6 cubic meters per minute.
1). Prepare for spraying according to the application guide requirements.
2). Apply a thin layer of an easy polishing primer (no more than 0.2mm thickness) on the original mold surface using thin, multiple passes. Allow it to dissolve. After 2 minutes of evaporation, spray the next layer to the desired thickness. The primer dries within 1 hour, after which sanding can commence.
3). Dry sand with 220-320 mesh sandpaper, followed by sanding with 600-1200 mesh water sandpaper, and then polish.
6. Storage:
1) Ensure that the product is safeguarded from heat sources, such as direct sunlight or steam pipes. Store it in a dry location where the temperature remains below 25ºC.
2) Maintain a tightly sealed container to prevent moisture absorption and monomer evaporation. Extended storage outside the specified conditions can affect the liquid resin's characteristics, including its viscosity and gel time.
3) Adhere to the State Council's 'Chemistry Dangerous Articles Safety Management Regulations' during transportation. Due to its styrene monomer content, this product is classified as hazardous and highly flammable.
